Hi, I'm Kieran. Ever since I was 15, gardening has been my main hobby and passion although I didn't originally consider it as a career choice and studied a Bachelor of Commerce at Auckland University. Four years ago I decided to quit office work and joined a high-end landscaping company as a gardener, quickly becoming a team leader. I loved working as a gardener and in 2025 I decided to go out on my own and start Shear Elegance. I love working with plants and it would be a pleasure to help improve your garden.

Experienced and qualified
I have 15 years of gardening experience, with three years work experience in high-end gardens. I also have two level 3 certificates in horticulture and landscaping.
All electric tools
All of my equipment is top of the line and battery powered Stihl gear. This means my work is environmentally friendly and also a lot quieter than those using petrol operated equipment. A petrol leaf blower for example causes as much pollution in an hour as a vehicle travelling 1,500 kms.
Insured
I have insurance cover up to $2,000,000. Should anything go wrong you have peace of mind that any damage will be covered.
Passionate
Because of my love for gardening I care about the health of all the plants in your garden. I take care when working around other plants to not cause any damage and make sure all my cuts don't compromise the health of your plants.
